Wedding

Dilrash and Shaffaf

Dilrash and Shaffaf although both doctors by profession, met through their parents in a customary arranged marriage scenario and had also agreed to their parents wish to have an extravagant wedding!! But Dilrash being a simple soul wanted the wedding to exude warmth and love. Fibitha, her mother was in total agreement and the duo set about planning everything around this. It was for this reason that they choose Crimson and Cherry and we set about it with a simple plan - no large structures, richly done decor that had an understated elegance and the wedding was to reflect the value systems of the bride and the groom.

The mehendi ceremony was an intimate and colourful ceremony at the house, with non-stop fun and entertainment that had the guests on their toes till the end of the day. The reception venue was a large open space, adorned with numerous coconut trees and a river flowing right beside it creating a landscape that would be any couple's dream location. It was a picture perfect set-up with the soft glow of the setting sun spreading over the space as the bride and groom walked in together to greet their guests caring less about the extravagance of the wedding and engrossed in the happiness they found in each other’s company.

Dilrash and Shaffaf’s wedding story was a tribute to true love and respect, that they share for each other and the family that surrounds them!! Wishing this beautiful couple the very best in life!!
